How can AI help me find a job?

Ask ChatGPT for a four-week job-search plan based on your role, location and time: alternative job titles, where to look, a weekly routine and a tracking table. Use Perplexity to research employers with sources. AI won't apply for you, but it keeps you organised and helps tailor each application.

Top tips

  • Don't paste your full CV with contact details into AI tools.
  • Beware 'jobs' that ask for money or bank details up front.

Frequently asked questions

Can AI apply for jobs for me?

Some services claim to; we don't recommend mass auto-applying, as employers notice generic applications.

How do I spot fake job adverts?

Be wary of anyone asking for money, bank details or ID before an interview. Check the company exists on its own website.
